I can not abide the short corner. A corner quick should be a guaranteed goal scoring opportunity, and by taking the corner short, a team almost always blows their advantage as the defense has more time to react. It is something DCU really needs to work on. If memory serves me correctly, last year they didn’t score or a single goal from a corner – or they scored the fewest goals from corners in MLS. Either way, they need to work on this particular set piece.
