Someone else’s take on how awesome we are…

By: jon | February 12th, 2008

Just got this link in my inbox, and decided to share it.

This is Soccerticketsonline’s (nice site, awful name) preview of DCU for this season.

They didn’t talk about the swindle from Colorado, or the new centerbacks, but I don’t blame them. Its not nearly as exciting as Gallardo coming to town.

But I would have to agree with their general conclusion, that DC is in position to make a strong run at the Cups they’re in, in addition to MLS Cup. Good time to be a DCU fan.

Great article. As a United fan I am really looking forward to CCC. We can use it as a measuring stick from last season. We lost some key players, and our outcome in CCC can tell us whether we upgraded, downgraded or are par with last season.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what Gallardo and Neill can contribute. I know our backline will be solid.

If we come away from 2008 without a trophy i will be very disappointed. I really want to win CCC so we can go to Japan in December.

With a squad like this, it’s always good to be a DCU fan.
