What just happened? Toronto match instant reaction

That was bizarre. Not just clown showing up at a bachelor party bizarre, but a clown shows up a bachelor party and is really the thought to be dead ex-wife of the groom bizarre.

Toronto and D.C. played to a 3-3 draw that may have been the strangest game at RFK ever. After 90 minutes, a butt-load of stoppage time, and 6 goals, I’m not even sure what happened. There are a few things I am sure about:

- This draw, when all has calmed down, will sting. Big time. Two extremely frustrating points dropped. Sometimes draws feel like wins, and in most cases this one would fall into that category when factoring in the chaotic events during the game, but with playoff places on the line this one will not.

- RFK Stadium really has some bad juju for United right now. The team cannot win games at home. Teams going into RFK may have to be favored now, especially the worse their away record is. It is yet another game that D.C. has let slip out of their hands in front of its own fans with late goals and mistakes at the back. Add that De Rosario had golden chance to snatch the game late, and it will be doubly frustrating.

- De Rosario really loves to score against former teams. He scored another three goals against Toronto, bringing his total to 6 against San Jose, Toronto, and New York Red Bulls since joining United. It was equally unexplainable and predestined that Toronto would allow De Rosario the freedom of the field to take aim at Frei’s goal for his first. The second and third will have left Aron Winter scrambling for the receipt on Andy Iro, Toronto’s new defender continues to prove that physical humor is still the truest form of comedy.

- Bill Hamid red card was understandable. The ejection was possibly a bit on the harsh side, after all his studs were not showing when he upended Eric Avilla only minutes into the match. But the tackle was reckless and in a MLS season marred with severe tackles, it was no real surprise when the, soon to be infamous, referee Jasen Anno gave Hamid his marching orders. He’ll learn.

- Despite the referee getting the first major call right, his allowance of Toronto to play before Ethan White could make it three yards onto the field is mystifying. While not quite on the same level and I am probably grasping at straws, his refusal to book Andy Iro after his penalty late was questionable. How a player could not be committing a bookable offense/game changing foul two yards outside of the goal is beyond me. I’m not one to use referees as a crutch, I am a firm believer in teams making their own luck and if that luck goes against you it’ll even itself out by the end of the season, but there’s no denying the negative impact this referee had in this critical game for United. It’s yet another example of a MLS game where the referee will be the main talking point and that’s a shame.

Tough to tell from TV sometimes, but it looked like the 1st Toronto goal was struck from an offside position and shouldn’t have counted. (The ball came off the keeper back out past Marosevic before he received it again for the tap in, and there did not appear to be a 2nd defender between him and the keeper.)

Think the goal was correctly called. Marosevic was onside at the time of the cross and the ball came off McDonald and not a Toronto player. As much as I’d like to blame the referee on that one, and trust me I would, that goal was on D.C. Cronin should have cleared better and not punched the ball Dhalsim-style right into such a dangerous spot.

It won’t be a night that Cronin will look back on fondly.

I saw a fighting spirit in United tonight that keeps me as a loyal fan. All that I ever ask of a team is that the guys, or gals, do their best no matter what happens. All hail Ben Olsen, all all hail DC united.

hair extensions can help you get rid of the frustration you’re having with your hair.

How are clip in hair extensions being put up? It is braided together with the natural hair.

If you end up going to a cheap hair extensions Australia hair dresser who has no training and is

inexperienced, you could end up with permanently damaged hair.
