WOOOO (Update: WOOO ^2)

3 points is three points.

MOTM- Luciano Emilio, even before he scored the game winner.

I’ll write about this tomorrow or Monday, but this was a surprising win, and a needed one. Many things to pick at, but when’s its said and done….

3 points.

Update: Reserves beat Chicago in a goal fest, 5-4. Write up is here. Niell, Burch, Cordiero, Kirk, and Dyachenko all scored. It’s just a reserve game, but it adds to the good feelings of the weekend.

Great win for your guys, and it’s hard to begrudge the heart DC showed tonight. Bravo.

Two best franchises in the league, right there. The game was fantastic. More like this, please.

That was a fun game to watch. I hope this win can catapult DC up to the top of the standings where they belong. I am an FC Dallas season ticket holder, but I consider DC to be the standard barer for the MLS. The league just looks more stable to me when DC is at the top of the table.

From an internet cafe somewhere on the west coast of Ireland…

So, the Guinness is great, stronger and tastier. Oh yeah, me encata! It stays light here until 10:30 at night. I feel like I’m in Alaska. I’ve watched every minute of the Euros and I must say, the BBC rocks. Halftime analysis by top notch people like A. Shearer and D. Moyes. In game by John Motson. NO COMMERCIALS. It’s awesome. The people are really nice, and I’m trying to gather enough to properly mimic the Irish accent. You know, for the ladies back home. I wore my DC jersey into the pub a couple of times. I’d love to say that someone recognized it, but um… no. At least not yet. Heading to Dublin sometime next week, so I’ll try it there. Caught the highlites package of the Chicago game – looked like I missed a good one. Shame Ireland’s not in the Euros, cause everyone is more into Hurling. Funny sport that is – helmets are optional, and you can use your stick as a weapon from the neck down. You know they have a whole league here, with teams from every county – and no one gets paid, not even the coaches. That reminds me, the dollar sucks. It really really sucks. It’s running at 1 Euro for $1.60. The daily paper alone costs like 4 bucks. We need to get on that people. That’s all for now, since writing this cost me like 10 bucks.

    Vamos!
