Wandering thru the woods

By: jon | September 11th, 2008

I’m not going to give you the whole jobs, school, girlfriend, life spiel that seems inevitably to come from blogs after a short or long hiatus, rest assured that all of that is true.

What is there to update you on?

Oh yeah, a game this weekend! DC hosts FC Dallas, who despite having Super Kenny Cooper, at the the moment, suck. At halftime, DC is honoring the 1998 DCU side that won more international trophies than you can shake a stick at. 2.
It appears, that we’ve signed Thabiso Khumalo on a loan deal for the rest of the year. See that here and everywhere else you can google. I can’t understand where he plays from the articles, but he’s either a midfielder or a striker. And he comes from a USL2 side in Pittsburgh. Good old salary cap.
Also, according to Goff, we’re looking to bring in Ibrahim Koroma, a defender from Sierra Leone. And we weren’t the only ones who wanted him (HAHA Galaxy), but we got him. It’s a loan deal with a view to a permanent move if he doesn’t suck.
The roster deadline is in 4 days, so hurry it up, Dave.
Ben Olsen has an ankle infection. Ben, since I’m sure you read this…shut it down. Relax. Go sit in the whirpool till next season.

That’s it. What do you have to say?

I just want Ben Olsen to play in one game this year, on November 23rd.

Anytime we outdo the Galaxitives in any way, I’m happy.

Oh, and I’m still mad about all the bad calls in MLS Cup ‘98.

When is my boy Peralta coming back? I thought he was slow on the FIELD.
(note: he is a statue, it’s true – but he’s an awesome, gnarly, totally tubular statue)
