VICTORY! EL MAESTRO GOMEZ SCORES ALOT
By: Nando | February 22nd, 2007
Gomez scored twice to inspire D.C. United to a 4-1 win away to Olimpia of Honduras in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal. The team did not look match fit and the rumors of Moreno eating too many pies were vastly exaggerated.
The defense was beat quite a few times and they failed to close on the opposition. The score might seem like a blow out but the team appeared very lazy and tired through most of the game.
Some post game thoughts from Mr. Goff.
Here are the goals from yesterdays game, the music makes it even better!

Nahun Espinoza says: “I’ve reached the limits of my patience. I can understand when a team is in a slump, but I can’t stand it when all the players are careless and can’t even settle a pass.”

Thats about it for my post game report. Well see what happens at RFK!
