Christian “El Maestro” Gomez scores 77th-minute goal to give DC the advantange going into next weekends second game! D.C. United, which has never and wont lose a playoff game at home against the Metorbulls franchise, will wrap up the home-and-home series with a tie next Sunday at RFK Stadium.

Not so new news Amado Guevara earned a yellow card 30 seconds after the D.C. goal when he raced to catch Moreno, carrying up United’s right flank, and hacked him to the ground! Hopefully hew wont bring that kind of artificial play to RFK.
Other news Colorado, a 2-1 loser to FC Dallas. New England, beaten 1-0 in Chicago, and Houston, also beaten 2-1 by Chivas USA will make the DC final opponents very interesting.
