THE FORMATION WILL NOT CHANGE OR WILL IT!
By: Nando | April 23rd, 2007Did all the off season hype about United coming out blazing give the team too much confidence or did they play that bad because they havent had enough time to gel as a team? I dont know but losing two right away is frustrating as fan but I still support the lads all the way.
I am hoping that coach Soehn is thinking about a 4 back line and that Perkins only had small lapse of skill that will not last any more games. I had to take some time off to think about the team, the lack of cohesion spread throughout the team and that apparently there is another mid-fielder instead of a defender.
With all the tragedy surrounding the events at Virginia Tech its kinda hard to complain about the team but they will pay tribute to the victims by wearing the Va. Tech colors in Columbus!
I will have some pre-game thoughts later this week now that I sorted out my anger, frustration as well as gassed up my jets for the rest of the season.

MLS news and the speculation about the effectiveness of D.C. United’s 3-5-2 formation.
Spreading the love to our neighbors in Baltimore.
Goff and his his observations on the formation changes.
D.C. United hire Pete Calabrese to training staff.
Adu has found a good place.

Are United going to wear VTech kits, or maroon kits with a DC badge? Either way it’s a classy gesture. Kudos!
