NOT ENOUGH PASSION?!

The gaffer speaks “For me, sitting back, you never want to make rash decisions on the way you play the first time you watch it. So we watched it a second time and watched some other games in our league. Our guys aren’t playing with enough passion. If you look back for the last time we had stretches of wins, you have to go back pretty far, and that’s concerning to me. Everybody gets held accountable, whether it is your highest-paid guy or your lowest-paid guys. You’ve got to come out with more passion and right now I’m not getting that out of them. So I’m going to look to the guys who are going to be able to do that. I’m not really concerned who those guys are, whether they get paid a little, a lot, it doesn’t matter, it just has to get better.”
My gut feeling tells me tHat Moreno will be on the bench and Fred coming in as the withdrawn forward, but other changes are necessary as well. After watching the Chivas games I saw a team that played hard and well and that team has dissappeared and a victory is needed tomorrow. After all the pre-season hype and media calling the domination by DC is now shattered, the team is at the bottom of the table and the road success comes tomorrow with a victory over the Revolution. Im actually rather a little exited to see what Soehn is going to put on the field against the Revolution!

aaaaaaaaaaaargh, is this isnt passion what is?

Not enough passion?? Give me a frigging break! The problem is not the passion, the problem is the structure. In other words the problem is the coach. Do you think benching Moreno made a difference? Brother please! Benching Moreno for a 3 division player is just plain stupid! I think it hurt the team. This guy Tom Suckehn I mean Soehn does not know what to do. He does not have the skills necessary to be a head coach. So far he has proven that. Can we please get rid of him and get a real coach?? Take a look at Salt Lake. They are making the right now. Why do we have to settle for a bad coach. He thought the team was ready in the off-season, and adding a couple of foreigners was gonna put them over the top. But guess what? Everybody else was working hard and trying to get better. NY Red Bulls for example. Bruce Arena has done a great job assembling a very good team. He can make the adjustments from game to game, without having to bench one of his best players. Benching Moreno was ridiculous!! Please lets get a someone that can coach. We have the talent necessary to be fighting for the title. I am sure that if Bruce or Peter Nowak were coaching this team, we wouldn’t suck like we do. DC United president needs to wake up and smell the sh*&. We are too proud to be a mediocre team and hang around the bottom of table. We have to show support to our players, and give them the help they need in the form of a real coach. Please don’t wait until we are buried in the depths of despair in order to make a move.
