IS EMILIO THE DEAL! TIME WILL TELL
By: Nando | March 2nd, 2007DC United advanced on a 7-3 aggregate, having won 4-1 in the first leg last week.Luciano Emilio scored twice against his old team first hescored in the 37th minute and added the second in the 84th. United will play Mexican power Club Deportivo Guadalajara aka Chivas in the semifinals, with the first leg scheduled for later March 15th at RFK, and remember no smoke bombs. The game against Chivas will be a real challenge for the team and I hope that the Defence doesnt fall apart like theyve done for the first two games and the fact that Facu will take anyone out in the box scares me, especially with the diving talent of Chivas. Perkins is supposedly out for about 2-4 weeks and Jay Nolly looked like he had never played goalie before so hopefully Perkins will pull a John Terry and heal super fast. Jamil Walker should learn how to finish by missing two easy goals. Thats pretty much my game report!

Marco Antonio Etcheverry retained by D.C. UnitedGood news that he will
be assisting in the youth development program. Maybe he can bring some the magic from Tahuichi to the kids.
D.C. United inks broadcast deal with Comcast SportsNet. Now you wont be able to miss any of the away games and youll be able to sit
in the comfort your home and light all the smoke bombs you want.
Goffs game review.
