FRED LEAVES MELBOURNE FOR DC? CHIVAS IS COMING!
By: Nando | March 9th, 2007Melbourne Victory star Fred has left the A-League to sign with US Major League Soccer powerhouse DC United, the Washington Post has reported. The Brazilian has agreed terms with the MLS club, and his international clearance and work visa may be finalised before the end of next week, the paper reported. He is reported to have agreed a four-year deal with DC United, with a base salary of approximately $US150,000, which still leaves plenty of salary cap room for a DP slot. Looks like United has been scouting all over South America rather than looking at over the hill stars in Europe. Kasali Yinka Casal, who has returned from England with a work visa
will also playing this season which makes him a crucial addition to the left winger side. Welton Silva is also on trial and no news on wether or not he will be signed.
I predict a lethal combination with Emilio, Gomito, Moreno and Fred up top should fear in to the hearts of the rest of MLS.

News down undercontradicts reports of Fred leaving.
Goff reports that DC is close to signing.
Another DOwn Under paper reports Fred is leaving.
Fred leaves for money? Transfer fees?
Spotlight on Emilio.
Next week we will playing CD Guadalajara aka Chivas Mexico, not to be confused with Chivas USA. My biggest concern what color diaper Bofo is going to wear on his head that night! There are other concerns such as the fact that they are probably the one of the best teams in the tournament next to Pachuca. Hopefully they will bring in the same performance from the first W. Connection game. Hopefully Chepo continues to expirement with the line up and I am quite sure he is underestimating DC in the first leg. Good news is that Perkins should be healed by the first game because Nolly was the definition of dodgy keeper.

Ill be making some of this for the first game!
5 pound goat shoulder
2 cups water
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
Worcestershire sauce
Salt
Pepper
5 medium potatoes
Put goat meat into roasting pot with water. Sprinkle well with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Add chopped onion and garlic. Put on lowest heat on stove. Cook for 5 hours. Add potatoes 1/2 hour before serving.
Vamos United!
