Doe in danger of losing DCU contract (Update)
By: jon | June 18th, 2008This article states that Francis Doe has lost his US Passport, which also contained his work visa and his European visa. As a result, he’s not allowed to come back to the club. In the article, he’s afraid that his contract will be terminated. Doe also thinks that Liberian officials are showing a lack of interest in remedying the situation. Stay tuned, as this could get interesting.
UPDATE: Goff has news here.

So Dublin was great. Galway was better. There are parts of Dublin that are just too obviously tourist traps. Met with officials at Galway FC and had a great time. Soccer is number four here in Ireland, behind Gaelic Football, Hurling, and Rugby, so there are similarites regarding promotions. Here they’re selling lottery tix for a car giveaway. 20 Euros will get you a chance at a Volvo. Their season ticket base is 600 people. Their ground seats 5000, but their field was beautiful. Even if it’s tiny, a SSS just looks so damn good. I’m off..
