DCU, VW agree to sponsorship deal

This article, via Goff, confirms the rumor that DC United and Volkswagen will be partnering, to the tune of 5 years, $14 million dollars.

What does this mean? It could mean money to play around with on our second DP spot. It could mean more money pumped into scouting. It could just be used to make DCU more profitable. However it goes, it’s good news for DCU.

If you’re looking for me to comment on the Rapids game, I’d much rather not. It was dour, without heart, and aimless. DC looked the part of a blind team playing against Brazil. So, I’m throwing that game in the trash. It didn’t happen as far as I’m concerned.

The thing I am focusing on is the defeat of the Fire, my most hated rival. I will be in class taking an exam, but my mind will obviously be somewhere near RFK.
